On November 22, local time, after it was reported that the Philippine Ministry of Finance (DOF) Secretary Benjamin Diokno (Benjamin Diokno) would be replaced, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.) refuted the news on the same day and became "fake news".

Diokno said he maintains a good relationship with the president, adding that he is "mature enough in the workplace to not even worry about these rumors".

Rep. Joey Salceda (Salceda) of Albay also denied that he would replace Diokno.
