Philippines Special Visa for Job Creation (SVEG)

Special Employment Creation Visa (special visa for employment generation) is a kind of special non-immigrant visa issued to qualified foreigners. Foreign applicants must employ at least 10 Filipinos in legal and sustainable enterprises such as trade or industry. The subordinate industries must comply with the Philippine Foreign Investment Negative List and the Foreign Investment Law (RA 7042).

Qualified foreign citizens who are granted SVEG will be granted the following privileges:

Exemption from immigration clearance requirements, in particular the Immigration Certificate (ecc) and the Special Return Certificate (SRC)

Your dependent children and spouse will also be exempt from these requirements

Stay indefinitely in the Philippines

Unlike SRRV and sirv, SVEG has no specific bank deposit requirements

The previous relationship of the spouse does not affect the survival status of the main applicant's visa.

The Special Employment Creation Visa (SVEG) gives the holder the right to reside in the Philippines and multiple-entry privileges as long as his investment remains in the Philippines. The SVEG is issued by the Immigration Department (BI) with the approval of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Foreign nationals granted SVEG shall be treated as special non-immigrants with multiple entry privileges and conditional long-term residency without prior departure from the Philippines.

The privileges of SVEG apply to a qualified alien, his/her spouse, and unmarried children under the age of 18, regardless of whether they are legal, illegitimate or adopted.

Non-immigrant aliens applying for SVEG must meet the following conditions:

shall engage in a viable and sustainable business investment or enterprise, directly or exclusively, in the Philippines, capable of exercising or performing managerial conduct, with the right to hire, promote and dismiss employees;

be able to demonstrate the genuine intention to remain in the Philippines indefinitely;

no threat to the national security of the philippines;

Foreigners' business investments or enterprises must comply with Philippine labor laws and other applicable special laws to provide practical employment opportunities for at least 10 Filipinos;

And these requirements must be met continuously every year so that he/she continues to hold SVEG.

SVEG application process

Upon payment of the regulatory fee, the Immigration Commissioner shall receive and resolve the SVEG application within 15 days from the date of submission.

Upon examination of meeting the conditions, the Director of the Immigration Department shall issue a notice of approval instructing the foreign applicant to report the registration and documentation to the Immigration Department. Upon payment of the corresponding fees, the "Alien Registration Certificate" (ACR)I-Card and the "Identity Certificate" (IC) shall be issued.

If the application is rejected, the Committee shall issue a notice of disapproval informing the foreign applicant of the rejection of his application. The applicant may file a request for reconsideration within 15 days of receiving the notice of rejection.

The Immigration Commissioner shall monitor whether the alien continues to comply with and comply with the requirements of the SVEG.

SVEG application fee

The main applicant is 29330 pesos; If you need to apply for a spouse or child, you need to pay an additional 29330 pesos per person, for the case where the spouse's children are non-Filipino citizens;

Alien Registration Certificate (ACR-I) US $250 per person;
