Singapore's Latest Entry Policy (10.20)

Singapore implemented a simplified tourism framework for all visitors from August 29, 2022:

1. The Singapore government further simplifies the risk classification of countries and regions, divided into general tourism categories and restricted tourism categories. At present, all countries and regions are included in the former; in the future, if the epidemic in a certain country or region changes, such as the emergence of new strains that will seriously affect public health, it will be included in the list of restricted tourism. Singapore will treat restricted countries and regions more strictly, including requiring short-term passengers to apply for entry permits before coming to Singapore.

2. Starting from April 26, 2022, fully vaccinated air and sea passengers and unvaccinated children aged 12 and below are not required to undergo nucleic acid testing within 48 hours before departure, and no further antigen rapid testing (ART) or compliance with home notification (SHN) after arrival.

3. Starting from August 29, 2022, even if all passengers entering Singapore have not completed the crown disease vaccination, they will no longer have to perform the seven-day home notice (SHN) after arriving in Singapore, and they will no longer have to obtain the entry approval first, but they must still obtain the nucleic acid negative test certificate within two days.

Singapore Tourism Public Health Security Initiative

Safety management measures were further relaxed. Since August 29, 2022, the requirement to wear masks indoors has been abolished. The public only need to wear masks at medical and health facilities and when taking public transportation.
