Indonesia Immigration Bureau Visa Latest Notice

Foreign citizens visiting Indonesia can apply for a visa on arrival. Unlike the electronic visa that can only be applied for through the immigration website, foreigners can apply for a visa on arrival after arriving in Indonesia without a third party. Ahmad, deputy co-ordinator of the Public Relations Department of the Immigration Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, said on October 10, "Recently, it has been reported that Indian citizens and citizens of several other countries can use third-party fast-track facilities to apply for visa on arrival. We inform you that landing visa can only apply directly upon arrival in Indonesia and pay at the bank counter in the arrival area, which shall be sealed by the immigration border control officer."

At the same time, foreigners from the list of non-landing visa countries who want to travel, hold business meetings or other activities can apply for visas online through website-based applications, which are https://visa-online.imigrasi.go.id/.

Before applying through the website, Indonesian citizen guarantors who guarantee the entry of foreigners must apply online to become visa guarantors on the above website.

Ahmed, head of Indonesia's Immigration Directorate General, said:

"We stress once again that at present the Immigration Bureau does not cooperate with other parties in issuing visas on arrival or e-visas. The Immigration Bureau will officially notify all cooperation arrangements through the official website of the General Administration of Immigration and social media,"
