Transportation, communications, housing and entertainment in rural and urban Philippines are very affordable, as are medical services, so that the Philippines is a favorite destination for tourists and immigrants. The Philippine Retirement Authority is a specialized government agency designed to help retirees ensure comfortable adjustments.
