01. Philippine's Latest Policy to China!

In order to further improve the prevention and control of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic and ensure the health and safety of personnel going to China from the Philippines, according to the latest domestic prevention and control requirements, the requirements for applying for a health code/health status statement (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "health code") for personnel going to China from the Philippines are adjusted accordingly, as follows:

1. isolation requirements

(I) all flight personnel shall be closed-loop isolated before boarding according to the requirements of the aviation department. If symptoms occur during the interval, the arrangement of returning home should be suspended immediately, and the close-up personnel should also follow suit.

(II) personnel of Chinese-funded enterprise projects in the Philippines (including central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises) must start home isolation 10 days in advance, and the company will issue a "Isolation Management Commitment."

2. testing requirements

(I) ordinary personnel going to China

1. All passengers going to China must undergo 2 nucleic acid tests and 1 antigen test (whether vaccinated or not) before boarding the plane, and the results must be negative.

(1) The first and second nucleic acid tests shall be carried out within 48 hours and 24 hours before boarding the plane respectively. The two tests shall be carried out at different testing institutions designated by the embassy. After obtaining the negative certificate of the above-mentioned "double nucleic acid" test, please upload the materials to the health code applet as soon as possible, and the embassy will issue the "blue" health code for passengers who meet the requirements.

(2) Within 12 hours before boarding, an antigen test shall be conducted at the designated testing institution of the Executive Aviation Department. The relevant test report does not need to be uploaded to the health code applet. The airline will check in with the "blue" health code and the negative results of the pre-boarding antigen test.

2, health code declaration requirements

① Nucleic acid test report 2 times before boarding

② My valid passport/travel permit information page

(3) Air ticket or travel itinerary to China

(4) Project personnel of Chinese-funded enterprises must upload the "Commitment for Isolation Management"

⑤ The vaccinated personnel must upload the Vaccination Certificate

(II) persons who have been in contact with confirmed cases or asymptomatic patients

Anyone who has had no effective protective contact with a confirmed case or asymptomatic infected person must be isolated and observed for at least 14 days before arranging a trip to China. After meeting the requirements, apply for a health code according to the corresponding requirements of the above-mentioned (I) types of ordinary personnel going to China, and truthfully explain their contact history.

(III) a person with a history of infection has a history of infection (has been diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, or although it has not been diagnosed but the nucleic acid test result is positive) personnel can only apply for a health code after 6 weeks of recovery:

1. After 6 weeks of recovery, the applicant must send the four negative nucleic acid tests issued by the designated testing agency of the embassy and the information page of his passport/travel certificate to the pre-examination mailbox (chinaembassy_ph@163.com) of the embassy by e-mail, and the embassy staff will conduct the examination. The title of the mail should be marked as "My name, passport/travel permit number confirms the application for recovery". The specific requirements are as follows:

(1) recovery identification. Waiting for nucleic acid to turn negative: You must go to the embassy's designated testing agency for the first and second nucleic acid tests (the interval between the two tests should be more than 24 hours, and cross-testing by different testing agencies) and obtain 2 negative reports. After obtaining the above 2 negative nucleic acid reports, it is deemed to have completed the recovery process.

(2) After the completion of the recovery process, starting from the date of the issuance of the second nucleic acid test report, at least 6 weeks and in good health, the applicant must go to the embassy designated testing institution to receive 2 nucleic acid tests again (the interval between the two tests should be more than 24 hours, cross-tested by different testing institutions), and obtain the third and fourth nucleic acid negative reports. For example, if the second nucleic acid test report confirming recovery is issued on April 1, the third and fourth nucleic acid test dates must be after May 12.

2. After completing the above requirements, the applicant can submit the preliminary examination to the embassy by mail, and can start isolation, health monitoring and pre-trip testing only after receiving the reply "through confirmation of recovery examination" from the embassy mail, and apply for the health code according to the corresponding materials of the above-mentioned (I) ordinary personnel going to China.

3. If the applicant is a project personnel of a Chinese-funded enterprise in the Philippines, he will submit it for 6 weeks after recovery and pass the preliminary examination of the embassy, then carry out 10 days of closed-loop management and pre-trip testing, and apply for a health code according to the corresponding material requirements of the above-mentioned (I) ordinary personnel going to China.

3. Foreign Citizens to China

The declaration of health status for foreign citizens going to China shall be implemented with reference to this notice. The above arrangements are made according to the epidemic situation, the characteristics of virus variation and other factors, and will be dynamically adjusted in the future depending on the epidemic situation and the situation of foreign imports. Passengers going to China must continue to do a good job of pre-departure protection and advocate pre-departure self-health monitoring to avoid detention due to positive pre-boarding tests or import after entry. This notice requires formal implementation from May 28, 2022. Passengers taking flights after the above date are requested to comply with the above regulations. If the provisions previously issued are inconsistent with this notice, this notice shall prevail.

In view of the current severe outbreak of the new coronavirus in Hong Kong 2019, in order to protect the health of our crew and passengers, passengers departing from Hong Kong to Mainland China must meet the following requirements:

-Starting from March 12, 2022, passengers must take samples of 2019 coronavirus nucleic acid tests with nasal swabs or nasopharyngeal swabs at government-approved testing facilities within 48 hours before flight departure, and show negative test results at check-in. Only the printed version of the test report is accepted.

-Passengers who enter Hong Kong from overseas to Chengdu and complete 7-day quarantine before departure can be exempted from the requirement of nucleic acid testing for 2019 coronavirus disease within 48 hours before departure.

-Starting from March 29, 2022, passengers departing from Hong Kong for mainland China must carry out an additional rapid nucleic acid test for 2019 coronavirus disease at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) at least 5 hours (up to 8 hours) before the flight takes off (the test procedure takes about 2 to 3 hours) and show a negative test result at check-in. except for travellers under the age of three, government dignitaries and travellers with health problems and holding medical certificates. Passengers who fail to produce a valid test report will be denied boarding the flight in question.

03, Hong Kong to add 6 designated quarantine hotels!

According to sources, the Hong Kong government of China announced the addition of six designated quarantine hotels, including the Royal Hyatt Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, the Lishan Hotel and the Imperial View Hotel, which will begin accepting room reservations within this week and will be put into service from the end of this month. It is expected to provide about 2,000 additional rooms.

Earlier, it was announced that from May 1, the entry prevention and control measures will be adjusted appropriately according to the risk assessment. in response to the anticipated continuing increase in the number of visitors to hong kong, the government sent a letter on 25 April inviting hotels or hotels with valid licences to apply to join the current round (I. e. the seventh round) of the designated quarantine hotel scheme to increase the supply of hotel rooms concerned.

Hotels interested in participating in the scheme must be approved by the Food and Health Bureau and relevant departments (including the Buildings Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and the Department of Health) to ensure that the hotel's design, facilities and workflow meet the requirements of disease prevention and control.

After evaluation, six hotels can join as designated quarantine hotels and will be put into service until the end of this round of plans at the end of July. The new list is as follows:

The current round of designated quarantine hotels is planned to last for five months. From March 1 to July 31 this year, there are 62 designated quarantine hotels in Hong Kong, providing about 22,000 rooms.
