Visa policies for countries with "travel bubble"

"The epidemic control center also decided to include more travel destinations in the sandbox program, which allows vaccinated travelers to enter from designated provinces or islands and stay in the area for enough one week to move freely instead of being isolated in hotels." Liu Jianye said.

It is reported that Bangkok Airlines will operate two special closed route flights every day, from Bangkok (BKK) to Phuket (HKT). These two flights are operated by older ATR72-600 planes, which makes the original one-hour flight from Bangkok to Phuket Island nearly two hours.

Other types of visas are not allowed to enter the country for the time being."

"As for the visa policy of the travel bubble country that will appear in the middle of 2020, it is a new policy for nationals of the country concerned or permanent residents who enjoy national treatment. Chinese citizens holding short-term visas are not included in this policy. Objectively, China's strict epidemic prevention and isolation policy also allows outbound demand to be filtered into rigid demand, such as studying abroad and humanitarian family visits. Even if some countries have opened up the processing of tourist visas, few domestic applications have been made."
