Xiamen Airlines became the second airline to fly to Davao City after Royal Philippine Airlines launched two direct flights a week between Davao City and Hong Kong on October 8.

Rabat Tam, director of the Davao Tourism Bureau, said the direct flight would improve tourism connectivity as it provides convenient direct flights between Davao and Hong Kong.
