Philippine Immigration Bureau Releases International Passengers Entry and Exit Guide!

According to Philippine media, on August 9, in view of Malacanan Palace's decision to lift the nationwide state of Covid-19 health emergency, the Philippine Immigration Bureau (BI) issued a guide for international passengers to enter and exit.

The Philippine Immigration Bureau stated in a statement that foreign tourists and temporary tourists must present passports and valid visas valid for at least six months when entering the country, unless they are entitled to visa-free entry.

In addition, a valid return ticket is required, except for the Filipino spouse, Filipino children or former Filipino citizens with Balikbayan privileges.

Foreign immigrants and non-immigrants are required to present an ACR I card at entry and departure checks, with the exception of 9A visa (business) holders.

Arriving Filipinos and foreign passengers as well as crew members and departing Filipinos are required to register via the electronic travel system (eTravel.gov.ph).

Foreign dignitaries and their dependents, as well as 9E (foreign government officials), are not subject to electronic registration requirements.
