Notice! Philippine Airlines resumes "Manila-Guangzhou" round-trip flights on January 14! "Manila-Xiamen" resumed today!

According to Philippine media reports, on January 13, Philippine Airlines (PAL) reopened its direct flight between Manila and Guangzhou on Saturday, January 14, 2023, preparing to resume its regular passenger service to mainland China.

Philippine Airlines will operate an initial flight to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport every Saturday.

This paves the way for a full resumption of pre-PAL flight frequencies, according to Christoph Gaertner, vice president for network planning.

"By adding Guangzhou to our operating flight list, we are connecting the world's second largest economy and strengthening the friendly relations between China and the Philippines," he added."

Philippine Airlines flights to and from Guangzhou provide passengers with early morning flights.

Flight information:

Manila-Guangzhou, PR 382, every Saturday, 03:35-06:10.

Guangzhou-Manila, PR 383, every Saturday, 08:40-11:10 (adjusted from January 28, 2023: 07:10-09:35).

For the Guangzhou route, Flag Airlines will deploy Airbus A330-300 (capacity: 309 to 363 seats) and Airbus A321ceo aircraft (capacity: 199 seats).

PAL also resumed flights between Manila and Xiamen on 13 January 2023 as part of the gradual resumption of services to mainland China.

In order to gradually resume flights to mainland China, Philippine Airlines is working closely with health and aviation authorities in China and the Philippines to ensure the highest level of health and safety protection for passengers.
