Xiamen Airlines Unaccompanied Children Service is an unaccompanied child service provided by Xiamen Airlines for children who have reached the age of 5 (inclusive) and have not reached the age of 12.

Handling conditions

Children need to travel alone and have reached the age of 5 but under the age of 12 from the date of travel.

Application channel

You can select the flight you need through Xiamen Airlines' official website, Xiamen Airlines APP and WeChat Public Number, and apply for unaccompanied children's service at the same time after purchasing tickets online. You can also call Xiamen Airlines' 95557 to make a reservation. You can only accept applications for unaccompanied children on direct flight and stop (no replacement of executing aircraft) routes, and you are allowed to apply for first class business class economy class.

Precautions

After the reservation is successful, Xiamen Airlines will send the Application Form for Unaccompanied Passengers to the applicant by sending an email.

Passengers traveling to and from Singapore: According to Singapore laws, regulations and airport requirements, if you fly to Singapore or leave from Singapore and apply for services for unaccompanied children, you will have to pay an additional Singapore airport service fee of RMB 130.

After the application is approved, the application form for unaccompanied passengers (in duplicate) and disclaimer must be printed, and the application content must be manually filled in and signed for confirmation as the only proof to enjoy this service. In order to ensure the accurate and effective transmission of information, it is necessary to print and carry the application form and disclaimer in accordance with the regulations, and arrive at the airport where the flight originated at the latest 120 minutes before the expected departure time of the flight to check in.

On-site flight process:

1. The depot must bring the "Application Form for Unaccompanied Passengers" (in duplicate) and a disclaimer, and arrive at the airport of origin of the flight at the latest 120 minutes before the expected departure time of the flight to check in.

2. After completing the boarding formalities for unaccompanied children, the person sending them to the station should stay at the airport until the flight takes off.

3. After arriving at the destination, the service personnel shall check the certificate of the child pick-up person according to the contents of the Application Form for Unaccompanied Passengers and hand over the unaccompanied children. Please ask the pick-up personnel to sign the Application Form for Unaccompanied Passengers.

4. After the unaccompanied child arrives at the destination, the person waiting for the pick-up fails to pick up the pick-up on time or delays the pick-up, and all expenses incurred therefrom shall be borne by the service applicant.
