[1]Gainful employment refers to a state or condition that creates an employee-employer relationship between the Philippine-based employer and the foreign national. if there is no employee-employer relationship.there is no need for SRRV Holders to apply for an AEP(Department Order No. 184, Series of 2017, otherwise known as Revised Rule for the Issuance of Employment Permits to Foreign Nationals) paid work refers the status or conditions under which an employee-employer relationship is established between an employer in the Philippines and a foreign national. SRRV holders are not required to apply for AEP if labor relations are not available (Department Order No. 184 of 2017, also known as the Revised Rules for the Issuance of Employment Permits to Foreigners)
[2]The remaining balance of the visa deposit of the concerned retiree-member declared presumed dead, for SRRV purposes, shall be kept intact until his/her lawful heir/s claims the same. if the concerned retiree-member presumed dead should reappear, he/she can claim the remaining balance of his/her visa deposit, without prejudice to the right of such retiree-member to apply for a new SRRV.
The remaining balance of the relevant retiree visa deposit declared dead, used for SRRV, shall remain as it is until its legal heirs claim the same. If the pensioner concerned is presumed dead and reappears, he/she may claim the balance of his/her visa deposit without affecting the right of the retired member to apply for a new SRRV.
To conclude:
SRRV cannot be directly paid for work, this point should be clear. Article 3 clearly states how to hold SRRV legal work requires going to the Ministry of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to obtain the required employment permit for foreigners (AEP). By the way, in addition to this AEP, there is also a law, which is a labor law governing the employment of foreigners, which needs to be consulted by oneself. To make it clear, you can't get paid work. You can get AEP in DOLE. You should also understand the labor law and the labor law governing the employment of foreigners.
SRRV's definition of paid work, please see [1]. The summary is that Philippine companies hire you and produce labor relations. It is illegal without AEP. If there is no labor relationship, the SRRV holder does not need to apply for AEP, such as assuming the advertising fee of Vlog, etc. If you are interested, you can check the Revised Rules for Issuing Employment Permits to Foreigners. Generally speaking, due to cultural and historical factors, Philippine citizens receive certain legal protection in employment for the long-term development.
Assuming death, this article has a supplementary clause. My understanding is not accurate enough, and the translation is also very bad. Someone will add or update it later.
