Before, due to the impact of the epidemic, many international students had trouble entering Japan. They not only needed to submit vaccination certificates, but also needed to fill in some entry guarantees. But now the Japanese government has announced that it will lift the "visa suspension measures during the epidemic" from October 11, and all visas within the validity period can go to Japan! The policy changes to Japan are as follows:

Starting from October 11, 2022, the use of "Japan 3-year/5-year multiple-entry" visas issued before March 20, 2020will be resumed, and multiple-entry visas within the validity period can enter Japan. Foreign tourists entering Japan are no longer limited to group tours, and individual free travel is open, and short-term detention (up to 90 days) in 68 countries and regions including the United States, South Korea, and Thailand will be restored. Residents can also go to Japan visa-free.

Starting from October 11, 2022, passengers holding the "APEC Card" within the validity period can enter Japan visa-free. Starting from October 11, 2022, short-term business and employment within 90 days, short-term travel and entry for long-term purposes will no longer require the recipient in Japan to apply in advance on the "Entry Health Confirmation System (ERFS). In addition, applications for short-term visas for visiting relatives and friends no longer require the inviter to provide a pledge.

From the 11th, Japan will no longer implement entry testing in principle, and will no longer require isolation at home or accommodation facilities after entry, report trips every day, and do not use public transportation. However, all entrants must submit a three-time vaccination certificate or a negative nucleic acid test within 72 hours before going abroad. It should be noted that the detection method "throat swab" is not recognized, and it is best to use the "nasopharyngeal swab" detection method. Japan has expanded the scope of approved vaccines, as long as it is the type of vaccine published on the World Health Organization's emergency use list, including my country's national medicine, Kexing, and Kangshino vaccines.

Originally, Japan's daily upper limit was 50,000, but the upper limit was completely lifted from the 11th. With the lifting of the entry limit, the international lines of all airports will be restored one after another. At present, only some airports in Japan, such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Hokkaido, have opened international routes. Japan's ANA and JAL airlines have said that they will significantly increase the number of domestic and foreign flights, and then both the number of flights to Japan and the price of tickets are expected to return to normal.
