Philippine Immigration Bureau: Aliens in Philippines will report for duty all year round immediately!

The Immigration Bureau reminds foreigners who have registered with the agency to report for duty in 2022 until March 1.

Immigration Director Mo Rendi said that as in previous years, this year's deadline will not be extended because the Alien Registration Law stipulates that aliens registered with the Immigration Bureau should report to the Immigration Bureau in person within the first 60 days of each calendar year.

He said aliens who fail to complete the perennial check-in procedures will be fined or deported.

Therefore, he urged foreigners who have completed the annual registration procedures to make an appointment for the annual registration procedures immediately through the online reservation system of the Immigration Bureau.

According to the regulations, all aliens registered with the Immigration Bureau with immigrant and non-immigrant visas must comply with the requirement of year-round registration.

Perennial applicants must present their Alien Registration Card (ACR I-Card) and valid passport.

Aliens aged 14 and below and aliens aged 65 and above are exempt from reporting in person. Pregnant women, persons with disabilities and mentally and incapacitated aliens are also exempted from reporting in person.

They may, through their authorized representatives or any liaison officer recognized by the Immigration Department, go through the formalities for perennial registration.

In addition to the headquarters of the Immigration Bureau in the Royal City of Manila, foreigners can also handle their annual registration at the branch offices of the Immigration Bureau nationwide.
