Cebu Pacific Airlines resumes Manila-Hong Kong flights! Passengers from Mainland China, Taiwan, and Australia can take it!

Philippine Cebu Pacific Airlines resumed flights from Manila to Hong Kong on April 1. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) government has lifted the ban on the entry of passengers from nine countries, including the Philippines, to Hong Kong International Airport.

Cebu Pacific's last Manila-Hong Kong flight was on December 29, 2021. Cebu Pacific said Hong Kong residents, Hong Kong SAR or UK passport holders and individuals holding Hong Kong identity documents would be accepted to board their flights.

Overseas Filipino workers holding Hong Kong work visas are considered Hong Kong residents, according to the budget airline. The airline said it would not accept flights from non-residents.

Other passengers who can take flights are those from mainland China, Taiwan or Macao Special Administrative Region and have not been to other countries or regions in the past 14 days; holders of diplomatic or service passports (according to current visa requirements); spouses and children of Hong Kong residents; local government personnel performing official duties; passengers working, studying, establishing or engaging in any business or settling in Hong Kong on a new entry visa; and personnel approved by the government of the hong kong special administrative region to carry out anti-epidemic work.
