Philippines Visa Extension

Project Introduction: According to the regulations of the Philippine Republic's National Immigration Bureau, foreign tourists visiting the Philippines can stay in the country until the expiration of their Philippine tourist visa. If they wish to extend their stay, they can apply for an extension through EasyGo. However, the extension period cannot exceed two years. If the stay exceeds two years, they should apply for immediate departure. The Philippine immigration law stipulates that if an immigrant fails to leave the country, the immigration bureau may automatically add them to the blacklist based on the circumstances.

Consequences of Overstay: If there is no valid extension of stay, it means losing the right to travel, study or work in the Philippines, and one will also face the risk of being deported or being placed on a blacklist. In severe cases, it may even affect the right to enter the country again.

Those who are caught violating the stay regulations will first be detained in the immigration detention center, awaiting hefty fines for overstay, a lengthy deportation process, and being added to the blacklist. (If on the blacklist, they can apply for relief through EasyGo or request to suspend the deportation process; if unsuccessful, a full refund will be given!)

For those who need to reside in the Philippines for a long term: Before the end of 1 year and 9 months, or within 2 years before the expiration of the extension, apply for permanent residency (family immigration: Philippine Minor Amnesty, Amnesty, Retirement Immigration SRRV, Investment Immigration Sirv, etc.) or Short-term visa: Philippine 9G work visa (with validity periods of 1, 2, or 3 years)
