Philippines Visa Downgrade

Project Introduction: There are typically three types of work visas in the Philippines: The downgrade means that from the 9G work visa, CEZA work visa, SCWV work visa, 9C seaman work visa, etc., one can be downgraded to the 9A tourist visa status.

If you are working at Company A with a 9G work visa, going to work at Company B is an illegal act. You must downgrade your visa to be legally employed at the new company. If your work visa has expired, you need to apply for a visa downgrade.

Downgrading to 9a will allow you to extend and renew your visa smoothly, and then you can apply for an ECC and return to your home country at any time. Additionally, please note: 1: All visa downgrades in the Philippines cannot be processed at the airport. Downgraded customers must be in the Philippines themselves. 2: Downgraded customers must be in the Philippines. Those who are abroad cannot handle the downgrade. It can be processed through EasyGo.

Notes: Those who fail to complete the visa application within the deadline: The fine will increase daily and annually; within a certain period, they will be automatically included in the list of undesirable individuals in the Philippines, and their travel and entry will be restricted. They must pay the fine and appeal to clear the blacklist in order to regain their normal tourist status.

Recommendations for those not leaving the country and those needing long-term residence in the Philippines: Before the end of 1 year and 9 months, or within 2 years after the extension, apply for permanent residency (family immigration: Philippine Minor Amnesty, Amnesty, Retirement Immigration SRRV, Investment Immigration Sirv, etc.) or Short-term visa: Philippine 9G work visa (with 1, 2, or 3-year validity)
