Sweden is a Schengen country. Applicants can only enter the visa review stage after completing the submission of Swedish visa materials and fingerprint entry. After the review, the applicant can also receive a passport.

After receiving the notice of receipt, the applicant must provide the visa fee receipt and the stamped passport copy returned by the visa center when submitting the materials, and go to the visa center to collect the passport/refusal result.

If the applicant cannot come to collect the passport/visa refusal result in person, he can entrust others to collect it on his behalf. The materials to be prepared by the principal include: the power of attorney signed by the applicant, the front and back copies of the principal's ID card (the original is submitted to the staff of the visa center for review), the visa fee receipt (ICR), the identity page and the signature page of the sealed copy of the applicant's passport of the visa center.

If the applicant's parents receive the passport of a minor child, a copy of the minor's birth certificate/account book (including the parents' page) must also be provided.

It should be noted that the specific regulations of different visa centers are different. Some visa centers do not allow others to collect it on their behalf. For example, in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanjing visa centers, if the applicant's visa application is rejected, he must go to Sweden. The visa center retrieves the passport and signs the relevant visa refusal document, and cannot entrust others to collect it on his behalf.

For those who are refused a visa, if the Schengen visa is refused, they can appeal, but those who apply for a long-term visa, that is, those who apply for a Swedish national visa, cannot appeal. Under normal circumstances, if the visa is rejected, there will be a normal explanation, so that the applicant will know the reason for the rejection. However, if the applicant has any objection to the receipt of the refusal result, he or she may submit a written appeal letter within 3 weeks of receiving your visa result.
