According to Philippine media, on November 10, Philippine police rescued a Chinese man in Ilijan Baocangya, Batayas City. It is reported that the man was kidnapped in the city of Pasai because he owed 10 million pesos.
According to the report, the Philippine police confirmed that the kidnapped man was Liu, 28 years old, single, from Liaoning Province, China.
According to an investigation by the Philippine police, Liu was kidnapped by four Chinese. The kidnappers forcibly stuffed Liu into a sport utility vehicle and took him to Yili Zhan Baolaya.
Liu refused to disclose his company and details of the kidnapping to the Philippine police.
It is reported that Liu wandered outside for 3 hours before he tried to seek help from local residents. Residents follow-up notice Batangas province first mobile unit company.
It is reported that Liu was handed over to Batangas city police, who told law enforcement officials that he was kidnapped for not paying a 10 million peso debt.
Liu was taken to Batangan Medical Center for examination. Police in Batangas have requested the assistance of the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) in handling the case.
