How to apply for a study visa in Germany?

3. The passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the validity of the visa.

4. The German university admission notice and the language proficiency certificate required on the admission notice, if necessary, attach the German translation or the registration certificate of the university preparatory language intensive course of the German language school and the original receipt that the tuition fee has been paid for at least 3 months, as well as the materials for studying in the university immediately afterwards.

5. Proof of financial resources for any of the following residence periods. Proof of the amount of € 853 per month (total € 10236) required for the first year of residence must be provided. If the residence period is shorter, the total amount is reduced accordingly.

a) Certificate of deposit in a bank account in Germany for the above amount required for one year's residence (I. e. a restricted withdrawal account)

B) A financial guarantee that meets the requirements of Article 68 of the Residence Law (not more than 6 months from the date of issue of the financial guarantee at the time of application)

c) Certificate of irrevocable guarantee issued by a bank in Germany for the above-mentioned amount required for one year's residence

d) Certificate of scholarship

6. Diploma of higher education or vocational education (diploma and degree certificate) or proof of enrollment/study or suspension, with a translation into German

7. Complete resume in German as of the date of submission of the visa application

8. The applicant's self-drawn-up German motivation explanation letter and signature shall describe in detail the reasons for studying abroad and the impact of studying abroad on future career prospects.

9. Medical insurance certificate: valid for at least 180 days from entry into Germany until the start of statutory medical insurance.

10. Certificate of cancellation of household registration by a German household registration agency that has previously resited in Germany and holds a valid long-term visa/residence permit or a long-term visa/residence permit that has expired for less than 6 months.

11. Audit Certificate/Audit Certificate/Fax of Audit Department of Personnel in Germany

12. The visa fee is 75 euros (37.5 euros for minors under the age of 18), which can be paid in RMB.

Germany divides the territorial area according to the place of habitual residence. Applicants need to choose their own territorial area to apply for a visa.
