How to Update Passport Information for an Australian Visa

Australian visas can travel to Australia within the validity period. If the passport is changed during this period, it is not allowed to enter the country with the existing visa. The passport needs to be updated. Let's see how to update it?

Before traveling to Australia, the applicant needs to check whether the visa is valid. If the passport is changed, it needs to be updated. There are two ways to update it.

1. Update in ImmiAccount account

· Login ImmiAccount

· Use the icon to expand the application details

· Select Update Details"

Select "Change Passport Information"

· Enter new passport details

· Enter a reason for the change

• Select "Submit"

Your passport will be associated with your visa or application within 72 hours.

If you have not used the ImmiAccount before, you can create a new account and import your application to use the online change passport form.

You can import an application into a ImmiAccount in the following situations:

• You have an ongoing paper application or

An online application submitted for you by someone else, such as an immigration agent.

2. If you cannot use the ImmiAccount, you can send an email to update it.
