How to apply for a business visa in Iran

If you want to go to Iran for business activities, Chinese citizens must have a business visa in addition to a passport. How to get a business visa for Iran?

At present, if Chinese citizens obtain Iranian business visas, they can apply for electronic visas online or apply for sticker (separate paper) visas in advance. The processing procedures for the two are different.

Iran e-commerce visa processing

Applicants for Iran's e-commerce visa only need to fill in the visa application form, submit the passport scan and electronic photo, and complete the application after completing the payment, and the audit results can be found within 10-12 working days. Under normal circumstances, as long as the applicant has a clear travel purpose, the information filled in is correct, and the submitted materials clearly meet the requirements, the check-out rate is very high.

Iran Sticker (Another Paper) Business Visa Processing

Starting from September 25, 2018, all Iranian single visa embassies will issue separate paper visas, and Iranian multiple visas will still be sticker visas.

If the applicant applies for a business visa with a sticker (separate paper) through an agency, it is also relatively simple. You only need to provide a personal information form, passport, photo, and a copy of your ID card. After receiving the materials, the agency will review them first to ensure that the requirements of the Iranian embassy in China are met before bringing the designated materials to the embassy or consulate to submit the materials.

After the visa is issued, the applicant should carefully check whether the information on the visa is correct, especially the start and end time of the visa validity period and the number of days of stay, whether the personal information on the visa, such as the spelling of the name, is correct, and if any errors are found, the applicant should contact the agent center in time, or the Iranian embassy or consulate in China.

At the same time, the applicant must clearly take photos or scan another visa (required for each visa) so that the old records can be provided when handling business visas and multiple visas at a later stage.

For those holding separate paper visas, when entering Iran, the Iranian border defense department shall affix an entry stamp on the separate paper visa, and when leaving the country, the border defense department shall check and affix a stamp, and then take away the separate paper visa before leaving the country. Therefore, the sticker visa must be properly kept.
