On July 25, the launching ceremony of a special operation jointly launched by the State Administration of Immigration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to combat illegal entry and exit was held in Nanning, Guangxi. In order to further strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese law enforcement agencies, on June 25, the State Administration of Immigration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam signed in Beijing the Work Plan of the State Administration of Immigration of China and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Joint Special Operations against Illegal Entry and Exit. On the basis of mutual respect for sovereignty, equality and mutual benefit, the Chinese immigration administration and the Vietnamese public security exit and entry administration will carry out joint special operations against illegal entry, further strengthen pragmatic law enforcement cooperation in the exchange of information involved in the case, personnel identity verification and repatriation of illegal immigrants, joint law enforcement and case handling, personnel arrest, border control, etc., severely crack down on deterring cross-border organizations and smuggling gangs, and make every effort to maintain the order of entry and exit management between China and Vietnam.
