Indonesia's Riau province restarted international routes due to two and a half years of suspension due to epidemic

Yesterday, Indonesia's Riau Province North Ganbaru International Airport (SSK) restarted regular international flights for the first time since the new crown outbreak in two and a half years.

After the airport opened international routes, it marked that all international routes in Riau Province have been officially opened to the public.

On September 12, Hendra, executive general manager of Beiganbaru Airport, said that the first flight was the OD 310 Bazaar Airlines flight carrying 46 passengers, which successfully flew from Malacca to Beiganbaru, Indonesia, and was greeted by the airport.

Hendra said the last scheduled international flight before the outbreak was Scoot Tiger TR flight 252 from Pekanbaru to Singapore on March 20.

Now, the airport is restarting, and Hendra has expressed hope that other international flights will be re-opened as soon as possible.
