Notice of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines on the Latest Requirements for Foreigners' Visa Applications to China

Since June 20, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines has adjusted the visa application requirements for foreigners to go to China for business, work, and family visits as follows:

1. bidding process

Fill in the form online (I). Please log in to the https://cova.mfa.gov.cn to fill in the visa application form online. After completing the application form, please print out the visa application form and confirmation page and sign it.

(II) mail reservation

(1) make an application. Please send mail to the embassy visa consultation mailbox phchinaembassy@hotmail.com.

Mail title format: "Name of applicant for visa type to be applied passport number".

Email Content: Please explain the reason and time of your proposed visit to China in the text, and upload the required materials for visa application in PDF or JPG format in the attachment (see below for details).

(2) Embassy preliminary examination: For those who meet the scope of acceptance and have complete materials, the embassy will inform the applicant of the specific time to go to the museum by e-mail; For those who meet the scope of acceptance but have incomplete materials, the embassy will inform the applicant of the specific time to go to the museum by e-mail after the applicant has completed the supplement as required.

Personnel holding diplomatic and official passports and applicants for diplomatic, official and courtesy visas are requested to submit application materials from the radial embassy.

Submit the application (III). Applicants are requested to submit application materials and collect fingerprints at the embassy's e-mail notification time.

* The following visa applicants can be exempted from fingerprint collection, and fingerprint-free personnel can entrust others to submit visa applications.

1, under the age of 14 or more than 70 years of age;

2. Persons holding diplomatic passports or meeting the conditions for examination and issuance of diplomatic, official and courteous visas;

3. Persons who hold the same passport to apply for a visa at the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines within five years and have kept fingerprints;

4, ten fingers are incomplete or ten finger fingerprints can not retain personnel.

2. application materials

Copy of original (II) passport and information page;

One (III) photo (front, bareheaded, color small 2 inches 48mm × 33mm within 6 months);

(IV) COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Such as China's domestic vaccination certificate, international vaccination certificate (commonly known as "Huang Ka"), Philippine digital vaccination certificate (VaxCertPH) and other verifiable vaccination certificates;

(V) original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who have Chinese nationality and later become foreign nationality);

Certificate of legal stop and residence of (VI) in the Philippines (applicable to third country citizens in the Philippines);

(VII) the following relevant types of visa application materials:

Precautions for 3.

(I) is still suspended from accepting visa applications for travel to China, medical treatment or other private affairs;

It is (II) that foreigners who apply the Sino-foreign mutual visa exemption agreement, hold valid Chinese permanent residence certificates and hold valid residence permits for work, private affairs, resident journalists and reunion do not need to apply for visas;

(III) have been issued a visa to China and do not need to apply for a visa, they must still apply for a health code according to the requirements of the embassy before going to China.
