The Philippines is on holiday! 6/28 Commemoration of Muslim Eid al-Adha for Official Holiday

On June 14, local time, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. (Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.) declared Wednesday, June 28 as an official non-working holiday (Regular Holiday) to commemorate Eid'l Adha (Eid 'l Adha).

Little Marcos has signed Proclamation No. 258, announcing that the holiday will be celebrated across the country.

During statutory non-working holidays, the employee's salary calculation for the day is as follows:

No Work-Daily Salary x 100%

Work-Daily Salary x 200%

Overtime-hours worked x hourly rate x 260%

In the event of an employee's rest day on a statutory holiday, the salary algorithm for that day is as follows:

To Work-Daily Wage x 260%

Overtime-hours worked x hourly rate x 338per cent
